The Eugene-Jinju Sister City Committee (EJSCC) is a nonprofit organization, helping connect people and cultures of two sister cities, Eugene, Oregon, and Jinju, South Korea. We celebrate the similarities and differences between the two cities by supporting many opportunities for interaction, including hosting visitors and international delegates, facilitating political outreach, encouraging connection through education, producing events and promoting communication.

You may consider hosting students from Jinju, Korea and help them experience the best of Eugene!
Small groups of high school students are chosen to act as official delegates of the city of Eugene to the city of Jinju, Korea. We will help you experience Korean culture with complete language and cultural immersion, by staying with a Korean family. From historical sightseeing to eating authentic delicacies, learn firsthand what life is like in the Republic of Korea. You are sure to return home with wonderful memories and unforgettable encounters. You may also volunteer to host inbound visitors.
